I found this updated list of MTV's top 10 MC's today and there are many discussion boards saying MTV has lost it's credibility with hip hop because of this list. Jay-Z at #7 (WTF), and Jim Jones even being on the list has lost any credibility MTV has with me as far as hip hop. This is pretty much just a list of most popular rappers than it is of best rappers. Again I must ask why is Jim Jones on the list. I feel there are other rappers that should have been on this list (i.e. Nas & Scarface just to name a few). I would like to hear your opinions on this list.

LMBO!!!! Jim Jones!?!?!? Big Boi not on there? At his worst he's best than a lot of the foolls. Snoop not on there? Hell Dr. Dre can out rap most these scrubs. Eminem even! Twista? Lil Wayne #1??? Jay-Z number 7? Busta Rhymes not on the list? 50 Cent?!? Game?!?!? This list is utter garbage. No Eightball no MJG, no UGK, no Lupe, this is whack! Horrible.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. MTV needs to be banned from anything hip hop. They need to bring back Ed Lover and Dr. Dre. They think Sway knows about hip hop cause he's black.
